While the brain is protected by the skull, the spinal cord is
more vulnerable, covered by 24 moving vertebrae.
When these bones lose their normal motion or position, they can
irritate the nervous system.
Many factors can cause this disfunction. The process
can often be the first source of nervous system interference.
Car accidents, stress, poor diet, long periods of sitting and
many other everyday activities can cause spinal disfunction.
Chiropractic is the science of locating areas of spinal disfunction
and the art of correcting them.

The first thing most
new patients want is to feel better. So, in the beginning,
visits are usually frequent. Your chiropractic adjustments
may be combined with other procedures to help relieve
your symptoms— ice/heat/rest etc. depending
on your age, condition, and lifestyle, repeated adjustments
over weeks or months may be needed to release
the old patterns.

| 2. Rebuild :

to function efficiently |

The goal of the rebuild
phase of care is to allow more complete healing to
occur Underlying muscles and soft tissue damage can
remain, even after you feel better. At this stage
visit frequency is reduced, but you will be given
supportive exercises to do yourself, together with
advice on posture, sitting, lifting etc. Without complete
healing. discontinuing care at this stage can set
the stage for a relapse.

| 3. Wellness :
ongoing care to maintain the changes achieved by

After full recovery, chiropractic
checkups and preventative adjustments can help preserve
your progress. Wellness minded adults and their children
